About Us
Grand Ave. isn’t your typical country duo. Living in sunny San Luis Obispo, Derek Breshears and PJ Repetto bring a beachy vibe and California charm to the classic country sound. Performing popular hits and creating their own music with clever lyrics and catchy tunes, the boys have become a sensation at local venues like Blast 825 Taproom and Downtown San Luis Obispo Farmers’ Market.

​Education
The guys met through their fraternity at Cal Poly, where they are currently fourth year students studying Experience Industry Management and Industrial Technology & Packaging. They quickly hit it off after discovering their passion for music.

Story Behind "Grand Ave"
After a casual day of practicing in the garage, the guys decided that they needed a name for themselves. They settled on Grand Ave. because Cal Poly and Grover Beach (mentioned in their songs) are on Grand Ave in both San Luis Obispo and Pismo. Both places have significance in their lives, so it just made sense. From there, they have continued to develop their own irresistible sound and perform for audiences throughout the San Luis Obispo community.
