About The Cave Singers
The Cave Singers are Seattle folk trio Pete Quirk (vocals, guitar, melodica, harmonia), Derek Fudesco (guitar, bass pedals), and Marty Lund (drums, guitar). Reminiscent of a more earnest Will Oldham, a tempered Animal Collective, or a whimsical Mountain Goats, their music is surprising yet cozy, sparse yet harmonious, pleasing yet torturous.
Invitation Songs, the first full length album is to be released on September 26th 2007, on Matador Records.
