Midge Ure

As expected and as always a fantastic gig Seen him with Ultravox in the 80's and more recently as a solo act. The crowd had a great night and the floor was literally bouncing with the dancing going on. Backing group/support act were also fantastic and extremely talented. Hoping he is back very soon as been too long away!

Midge was brilliant as usual. I saw him first with Ultravox in 1986 on the U-Vox tour, I was just 15. Since then I've seen his more intimate solo shows in smaller venues where it felt like a conversation in his living room with some brilliant music thrown in for good measure. This gig was something different entirely, opening with a smattering of solo greats then into Rage in Eden tracks and a song I never thought I'd ever hear live. No Regrets... I was like a puppy with two tails. By the time the gig was nearing its conclusion and Midge burst into Dancing with tears in my eyes, I realised that although I hadn't been dancing I still had tears in my eyes. I've been humming these songs since...sometimes from the moment I open my eyes in the morning. Utterly, utterly brilliant.

Midge is the ultimate musician and he gave his all in this cracking gig. He was ably supported onstage by India Electric Co. Again they are marvellous musicians.

Small event with 300 people, amazing support band India Electric Co. And Midge Ure was superb, he aged gracefully. Had a chat with them after the gig, this small crew and great show is worth every cent. Not 5 star rating because perfect does not exist x

Fantastic venue, not too big and sound quality amazing! Midge and Band Electronica were absolutely fantastic! Can't believe you're still singing so great after 40 years! Would highly recommend going to see Midge Voice & Visions tour and this venue was amazing! Also India Electric Co. fab too!

Great show! Midge was in top form despite the fire alarm going off multiple times during his set. I believe the fog machine was at fault for the alarm going off. Unfortunately, Midge's set was cut short due to the fire alarm delay. The duet of "Do They Know It's Christmas " with Howard Jones did not happen either, I'm not sure why.

Midge and the band gave everything. The crowd responded by rising to their feet for several songs. Well worth seeing the legend that is Midge Ure.

Very clever show, extremely enjoyable evening. Loved the Q&A vibe. More artists ought do that. Midge is in excellent voice, sounds as good as he did when I did sound on the 1979-80 Ultravox Tour. Was great having a chat afterwards and looking foreword to seeing him again soon! Cheers Midge!

Midge was fighting a cold and I’ve heard his voice better. Felt like we could’ve had a couple more songs, but the time was tight. The Q&A led to great stories. The audience was bummed that this 1980 Tour wasn’t coming to the States due to lack of promoter interest.

Absolutely superb! That voice in that place was just amazing. Vienna sent shivers... and Rusty aegean was a great addition. Could relate to every song he mentioned.

So great to finally see this legend after all these years. Thank you so much for returning to the island for this special gig.

I can’t believe he was playing at such a small venue. Midge was brilliant. He does not disappoint and his voice is phenomenal. Met him after the show, made my year. Love this man....

Midge was in amazing form. Some new tunes and some great oldies from Visage and Ultravox. Paul, definitely an entertainer. Great taste in old soul music.

Midge was fantastic. Was amazing to see such a legend up close. Paul had a throng of swoony women hanging on his every word. Sound could’ve been better for him especially. I don’t understand why this was at the small, outdoor venue instead of the big venue. Both guys came out after and made my night. Backing band that covered both sets was terrific. The half star is only missing for the less than perfect sound and odd venue choice.

His talent, voice and performance were absolutely amazing. After the show, My daughters and I were able to meet him. We had a fantastic concert experience!

In Comparison to the Concerts last Year the Tracks had changed a little bit! Well done! I was once more astonished about the good Sound at the Kultur Café in Ishøj! Especially the Acoustic Version ofDancing with Tears im my Eyes had been the best I have ever heard and seen of Midge Ure or Ultravox during my 15 seen concerts from 1981 or 1982 on!

Fantastic and enthusiastic show by Midge Ure last night at the Social Hall, many many old favorites, capped of by a rousing version of Starman in a tribute to David Bowie:-)

Excellent as always. Didn't play lots of obvious hits on this tour so may not appeal to a casual fan expecting to hear lots of Ultravox songs but a proper Midge fan would enjoy. Support by India Electric Co was great and Cole & Joseph then coming back out to play with Midge works well, especially Joseph playing the violin for Vienna 👍

Midge was amazing as usual. It was a special evening because my big brother got to see him like we did when we were kids. The Chapel is lovely but their staff did not step in when a drunk group was very loud and speaking so loud that they disrupted Midge's performance. He had to say something to them but the kept at it. I wished their staff would have quoted them down or kicked them out as they were loud through a good chunk of the show. Very disappointing Chapel Staff. I hope Midge comes to SF again soon!
