S73 have been on a mission to introduce their brand of high energy, British made - melodic rock to as many people as possible. All members draw on their experiences of life and music, to create and craft a sound that
highlights their broad range of both.
S73 began in earnest when the band played their Debut gig at Leicesters iconic Soundhouse Venue, followed with two shows in London, The Cavendish Arms on the Friday followed by the Oxjam Festival in Chiswick the following day.
Super73 progressed to gain new fans and played shows in Birmingham, Nottingham, Derby, Grantham, Mansfield and Leicester. Playing support to UK rockers Arcane Roots, Welsh band Attack! Attack! James Jaggers Turbogeist and US favourites Everclear.
These initial shows led to online media becoming aware of Super73 and showgoers championing the band online and by word of mouth to others. Whilst playing shows and building a strong base, S73 were recording their debut release:
Remember.Bulletproof.
With this release, the band produced their debut video for lead track 'There or Thereabouts' Working with Emma Scott from PlugginBaby, the EP recieved a welcome response from radio, gaining airplay on over 20 local, national and
internet radio stations, including BBC introducing.
The band then embarked on a Tour in a Day in aid of Oxjam. Performing a number of different shows, in different cities, in one day. A feat they hope to repeat this coming year.
December saw the band travelling to Manchester, to visit Fly53 for an intimate gig and photo/video shoot as part of their promotions for the Spring/Summer 2014 range. Fly53 are a fiercely independant company that has it's roots in Music. That appeals to the band and S73 are looking forward to future work with the label.
With a strong DIY work ethic, and growing fan base, S73 are planning to record their debut album in 2014 and place themselves infront of more people in sweaty venues across the country.
Super73 are Emerging as a Band you 'should' go to see live.
