Snarky Puppy

It was a great show! Been following these guys for a long time, but was the first time I was able to see them live. Impressive musicianship and really good vibes!

Every performance is awesome! The sound at Longhorn Ballroom was amazing! The brass horns had a sound that is unexplainable. The sounds of Snarky Puppy was so rich and full in this place! They played 2 of my favorite songs, Belmont and Bet. I wished they had played Free Fall though. It was quite awesome to see the artist Nate Wood - Four. Such creativity! I had soooo much fun at the Longhorn Ballroom. If you ever have the chance to be there, check out their gallery. Some pretty nice memorabilia and history of a few artists that came through there.

First time seeing Snarky Puppy. I’m posting this review six months after the show and I’m still buzzing from the experience. Absolutely phenomenal group of musicians. Can’t wait until they come through again.

Saw them at the Hollywood Bowl last year but seeing them at the Orpheum was like being invited into their living room! Besides being an Assembly Line, they each can hold their own as individuals.

The TempleLive venue in Cleveland is a great venue for a concert. The seating allows you a great view of the show, and the acoustics are good as well. The opening group C4 Trio suffered the unfortunate injury of their bass player, but Michael League was gracious enough to fill in for a few songs. Unfortunately, Mr. League's bass was mixed for his playing with Snarky Puppy and overpowered the members of C4 Trio's instruments. The 4 string Cuarto of Mr. Jorge Glenn was the only instrument that was mixed correctly to start, but luckily by the end of the set the mix was improved for both Mr. Edward Ramirez, and Mr. Hector Molina. They have that great Latin sound, and provide some great energy, and a really cool moment when they each had a hand in playing the others Cuatro. What can you say, Snarky Puppy always puts on a great show. Their set was to feature the new album release Empire Central which features music performed with an homage to their roots in Texas. The set, like the album features a varied array of musical stylings with one of my favorites being the upbeat Mean Green written by the percussion player Nate Werth. The last song of the set, and the encore were a couple of songs from their great album We Like It Here. It was a great show, and will definitely return to TempleLive Cleveland to see a performance, and also to any venue to see Snarky Puppy live.

This was my first time going to see a show at TempleLive and I thought it was nice. It's a historical building that is quite charming, and the acoustics turned out to be pretty good. Pro tip -the women's restrooms upstairs have many more stalls so the lines moved more quickly. C4Trio was a very cool opening act - the sound system was definitely set for Snarky Puppy when they played so it wasn't ideal for the more acoustic style sound, but overall their performance was incredible. This group is extremely talented and very passionate! Highly skilled musicians and excellent entertainers. Snarky Puppy was excellent- very engaging - the visuals only added to the show and were not distracting. This is a very skilled group of musicians - and you can tell how much they care about what they do. The music was great, the stagecraft was great- no complaints here! Definitely would see them again when they are next in town.

Beyond excellent. The C4 Trio was an amazing unforgettable opening act and then Snarky Puppy outdid themselves with a bunch of new songs that blew us away. The only issue I had was that the crow back bear the sound booth made so much noise throughout the show that it was hard to hear the transitions—and sometimes they drowned out the artists speaking. The venue staff was very friendly and helpful from the front door to the restroom. It was a great event.

Best show ever. Seriously. Every musician is a complete genius. Venue was so intimate. Crowd were great no talking and very little camera use. I still got a cheeky shot though!

This band, at this venue, on this night -- awesome. I was so impressed with how tight they were with each other. They played mostly brand new stuff from the upcoming album. So good! Well written tunes expertly performed. I left that show saying "This is a band I would travel to see", and two days later I drove 3 hours and saw them again in Rogers, AR with Steely Dan. Even though they were excellent at that show, the smaller venue, better sound balance, and longer sets made the Little Rock show the real shining star. Although I never really followed them previously I am now a true fan.

This was AN AMAZING performance! My best friend and myself had a blast and sat directly behind the brass section. It was an awesome experience and we cannot wait to see them again in a small setting capacity again if possible.

I've been to ALOT of concerts but this has to be one of the best of not THE best I've ever been to. The musicianship is at the top level. If you ever have the chance......GO!!!

Front of house sound was a bit muddy all night, & the opener was absolutely AWFUL. However, Snarky Puppy was amazing, & I can’t wait for them to come back to KC!

Incredible. Didn't expect any less. The sound was on point. 2nd time seeing them live (Indiana 1st time). Great 1st visit to Utah, Snarky Puppy! Please come again! Hope ya'll felt welcomed.

ABSOLUTELY KILLER SHOW FROM CHRIS BULLOCK AND HIS BAND For some reason I can’t give it full five stars which bothers me, but I enjoyed the show very much and took lots of inspiration home. 15/10

Banda Magda and Snarky Puppy held nothing back! This was my fourth Snarky Puppy live show, and though I have enjoyed every show, this one blew me away! Music was absolutely amazing, as were the acoustics at the Orpheum Theater, which is absolutely beautiful.

Waited for this moment for a long, long time. My original plan was to go to The US to find a recordingsession and join Snarky Puppy in The creation of their Music-art. And I would have brought my to eldest kids with me. But being Aware of The almost impossible in that plan second Best was to attend a Local concert.At Christmas time I Saw Snarky Puppy's Tour-plan, and my heart skipped a beat as I became aware of their visit to Aarhus - only 40 minutes away. And I Got tickets for me and my son. I gave it to him as a christmas present. The long wait was all worth it. The jazzy, funky, happy, healing, motivating and inspiring Music from Snarky Puppy has fulfilled an empty void. I often go to concerts, but I've never been moved, struck or inspired this Way before.My expectations were sky-high, and they were fullfilled... I hope to get The chance to Enjoy this tight and inspiring band many times in The future. Not only for their Music, but also for their contribution to upcoming artists - and to art as a whole...

the show was good with the musicians who did perform. it was disappointing corey henry..shaun martin and spud wasn't a part of the group. it was like watching a incomplete snarky puppy. Good show overall but needed the other original members to give it 5 stars

Musically Organic and Mind Altering Enigma!!!Snarky Puppy does it again and this concert was better than the last time I saw them. They just keep outdoing themselves, which is a sign of true artistry...ever evolving!!! Encore in the last show was Quarter Master, and this one was Quarter Master again. BTW Quarter Master Is my favorite Song!!!! I literally was in the edge of my seat and Mr. M.L. on the bass, just letting the music gives take over, it is a pleasure seeing him get down the way he does!!! It was a two hour trip for me, and I'll do it again and again because the Snarky Puppy NEVER dissapoints! Love you guys and you always have my support! Long Live Snarky Puppy!!!

Not bad, not bad at all. It's impossible to recreate the sound of 40 people with 7, so do keep that in mind if you're expecting it to sound studio quality. But none the less it was fantastic and well worth it.

It was very loud, couldn't distinguish all the different sounds and instruments. Very hot and packed. We waited a LONG time. The band was awesome and funky and overall our night was very worth it!
