Nicole Rene

Nicole René is an Edmonton-based Alternative singer/songwriter and a Numa Network model. Her primary instrument of choice is guitar which she has been playing for over ten years. Early on, Nicole showed an immense passion for song and has been writing music since elementary school. Her music can be characterized her eccentric blend of sounds, blurring the lines of genre and keeping the listeners on their toes. She enjoys music as it offers an opportunity to speak on social issues and explores the bizarre expanse of her own inner thoughts. She uses her platform for good, hoping to expand her platform so that she may spread awareness for causes close to her heart, such as mental health and human rights activism. Many describe her to resemble something of Halsey’s early work, an artist who Nicole looks up to. In addition, she considers her musical influences to include Mother Mother, The Fray, and twenty one pilots.
