Samara Yung

Samara Yung has been performing professionally from a very young age, developing her love of music from her musician father, Murray. Samara’s hometown is Yorkton, Saskatchewan, where her roots run deep and she currently resides.

Over the years, Samara has released four albums and has received several Saskatchewan Country Music Association awards and has shared stages with the likes of Blake Shelton, Aaron Pritchett, Jess Moskaluke, The Road Hammers, and many more. She has had success with singles like "Scared Enough", "Fireproof", "Mardi Gras" and "You Brought the Party", which was a duet with fellow Saskie - Codie Prevost. The video for that single also has had nearly 140,000 views on YouTube.

Her new project is focussed on remaining true to who she is an artist -a rock edge with killer vocals and songs that speak to the human connection. Produced by Danick Dupelle (Tebey, Emerson Drive), she truly feels like she has found herself and her sound. Her brand new single "Swerve" will drop at radio on January 7th 2019 - written by Madeline Merlo, Karen Kosowski and Emma-Lee. The single will be available at all digital platforms on January 11th.
