Tyler Childers isn’t really opening up for Sturgill... It’s more like a double feature... Tyler is Quentin’s “Death Proof” & then Sturgill comes out like a zombie in Robert Rodriguez’s “Plant Terror”. A DOUBLE FEATURE THAT YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS!

Sturgill used the Samurai warrior tactics found in the Book of 5 Rings to bring the mojo of Hendrix, Jimmy Page and the Siamese twins bass/drums rhythm section equal to and perhaps surpassing that of the Allman Bros in their prime to concoct a witches brew of Sonic youth dream inducing ayahuasca spirit magnetic field deep and dirty funk grooves and true love to raise funds and awareness to a great cause #specialforcesfoundation if you had plans to go to the troubadour tonight for a show, forgot it. It's been burned to the ground.

Amazing performance. I was blown away by his talent. I expected the show to be good. I did not expect him to sound better than he does on his albums. I'll go see him as many times as he comes around. Incredible.

5 stars of course! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Sturgill is amazing! He jammed all the way through! He played a few songs with just him and his guitar and rocked it! Finished out the night with a 10-15 jam of “Call to Arms”!

Excellent show! Sturgill was absolutely amazing, he may have messed up a couple of the words to songs, but that didn't take away from the show. It was pretty obvious the band was still experimenting with the set up but they pulled if off really well, Chuck (Bass), Miles (Drums), and Bobby (Keys) were all equally great. Margo Price was also an amazing opening act and a great addition to the experience.

Sturgill. Horns. Fantastic. I was lucky enough to see him a few years back in a tiny little bar in Arizona. Couldn't have been 200 people packed in there. Glad to see his rise. He's deserving. He's transitioned well.

Not only a brilliant studio artist, but also a great performer. Did many recognizable covers along with stuff from all three solo albums, and performing his latest in his entirety. The band was very soulful and resembles a jam band, doing a 15 to 20 minute version of Call to Arms. Many thanks to Sturgill and all he does.

Sturgill was outstanding, as was the band. The only negative I have to say is that the three rows ahead of us spent as much time getting up to go buy drinks as they spent listening to music.

Sturgill Simpson was outstanding. I wish this venue had some open areas for people dance. I guess I'm being picky, but I had to leave my seat and go to the back of the theater so that I could dance around.

Sturgill killed it. Sounded better live than he does in the studio, if you can even wrap your head around that statement. Anyone who did not purchase their tickets in time to this sold out show should probably sell everything they own and move to a different country and start their life over.

Unforgettable. Been waiting a year for this. Nice venue. Little surprised he put the guitar down for so many songs, but it's okay. Will be looking forward for a more acoustic show next. FYI Sturgill Simpson saved country music. And Luke Bryan ruined it. Js

He is certainly an introvert. Spent most of his time with his back to the audience staring at the band. If the microphone had not been over toward the audience he never would have turned around. That being said, he is very talented.

Best concert I have been to in a really long long time. Almost 40 and I felt right at home. Made some new friends, heard a very accomplished musician and his band put on a stellar performance and I love watching his career grow. If you get a chance to see Mr. Simpson. Do it. Post haste. You'll be a better person for it.

For those of you who couldn't procure a ticket for Sturgill Simpson last night I am sorry. It was the best show I've seen this year. His new three piece horn section from NOLA compliments the already musically tight band led by his solid vocals. A show to remember.

Saw Sturgill earlier in the year as an opening act..never understood that but it's hard to believe the depth and richness of his voice. We were fortunate to meet him this morning as we were catching the elevator. One helluva singer and songwriter.

Sturgill Muthaf&@#!ng Simpson!! Great show, great band! He's doing exactly what I'd hoped he was doing! A beacon of light in today's "country music", he's giving us back what disappeared a long time ago. Hope to see him and the boys again soon.

regardless of the circumstances .. i for one had one hell of time ... fuck what those old bastards were complaining about ... live music is what I live for .... and my friend this one hell of gentlemen gesture that goes a long way in my book .... we still had a blast

Sturgill was obviously upset because his monitor didn't work. Then he lost his voice and the band left the stage early and no one provided an explanation. Sturgill tried to power through and I can't wait to see he and the boys again soon!
