Mick Jenkins

Excellent show, so glad I made it. I saw him at New Parish in Oakland a few years back and this time he was much more engaging and lively. The crowd was super into it. Always comes strong with the new bangers, and sprinkles in some oldies from Water.

Mock captivated the crowd as soon as he walked on stage. Very engaging with his audience. Won’t miss him on a tour.

Great show!! Chicago was def in the building!!! The energy was incredible!!!!

Mick is HIM. 10 years out from Tha Waters and he did his thing!! Stayed out late to sign merch and take pics w fans. Security literally had to e****t him backstage. Also did an encore. Good mix of new and old songs. Totally packed out house. SLLIME on the dj w a live drummer. Mick rlly showed his a*s on this night and I’m glad I didn’t miss it.

I'm going to have to see him again as a solo headliner because this show didn't catch the full vibe of a Mick Jenkins performance. The crowd seemed to mostly be there for EarthGang (which makes sense - ATL and everything - but that doesn't mean that Mick should be treated like some random opener... That's disrespectful). Additionally, while Mick chose songs that worked well being performed solely with tracks (as I think that was a limitation of this tour), I really missed his live interpretations. Yes, a band is a big cost for such a collaborative tour... but I think the reception of Mick's set would have been different if Mick were allowed the resources to fully be Mick. Hopefully that makes sense... I wanted to be honest and constructively critical, as I'm that fan who enjoys his shows regardless lol. I just wish the crowd had done their research to prepare for his set too - not just EarthGang's. #SpreadLove 🤷🏾‍♀️

Man Mick Jenkins killed it last night, my first time finally catching one of his shows and I'm so happy that I finally did. He had the energy and the vibes, house was packed and it was certainly a night to remember. If you haven't seen Mick live yet, definitely do yourself the favor and catch him next time he comes to your city, I will certainly be at one of his shows next time he comes to town. Drink.. more.. water!

He’s a dope performer. If you love his music, hearing the live version of his songs is next level.

He put on a great show, and I got to meet him too! He was very personable, which was nice. I would definitely go back to another concert of his.
