Jacquelyn’s journey to this moment of total creative control began at age 5, when she first started playing piano by ear. Her early years were spent competing as a classical pianist before she pivoted to jazz, making her professional debut at 15 with the Tommy Morimoto Quintet (opening for icons like The Yellowjackets and Stanley Turrentine).
After attending Berklee College of Music on merit scholarships, she established herself in Los Angeles as a versatile on-screen pianist and composer for networks like NBC, OWN, and Estrella TV—including a 100-episode run on Noches Con Platanito. In 2023, Jacquelyn served as the musical director, pianist, and arranger for Tony Award winner John Lloyd Young, including a residency at the iconic Cafe Carlyle in NYC.
