Great song writer. Loved the show. I prefer to leave politics out. Canadians are booing the American anthem. Two police officers where shot in Toronto. One by an Iranian revolutionary guard corps terrorist. Low income people in Canada are struggling to feed themselves. Many artists are shitting on American and Trump.Trump will gone in a few years. Its time to take a look at our corrupt government here in Canada. Examples are carbon tax and the 90 - 200 billion $ Alto high speed rail. That is not spending billions giving friends and family of this corrupt government bonuses for doing nothing.

Dave is a master musician & storyteller. His quiet charm and musicianship are a powerful combination and the end result is a wonderful show and concert experience that stays with you long after the lights lift.

Dave is a great Nova Scotian home boy. Love his song writing and music. The show was great, good venue. The 5th star is absent because, for a 2 hour show, there was a lengthy break where we decided to leave rather than wait.

Dave Gunning is one of Canada’s musical gems! He is a true gentleman, humble, kind soul and extremely talented! His song writing, vocals and guitar playing are truly amazing! Definitely do NOT miss seeing Dave perform! On this night he was joined by Rosie Morrison on the fiddle Her playing was so complimentary and added another beautiful layer to Dave’s show, music and performance! Everything about this show was top notch! Dave Gunning is a tribute to Canada and the Canadian population. His songs resonate with the history of the east coast and environmental issues that various communities have faced. Mixed in with that are light, humorous songs that get audiences involved. Dave cannot be surprised that we participants know the words…we listen to them all the time, and so enjoy being included as fellow singers in his concerts. Thank you Dave for sharing your songs with the west coast. We look forward to future concerts wherever they may be.

Dave Gunning is a superb entertainer. He’s funny, personable, humble, and a heck of a great songwriter & storyteller. With his long-time friend, JP Cormier, they make a great act and play off and with each other perfectly. I’ve been a long-time Gunning fan, and never tire of his songs and stories and humour. Don’t miss these guys if you get the chance to see them!

Who would have thought that Dave would be playing the next town over from us in the US. We met Dave 20 years ago on Prince Edward Island at the Trail Side Cafe. He and JP are a wonderful duo. The staff at the show we super friendly and a great little venue to watch a show.

Windsor Nova Scotia's Mermaid Theatre was full as Dave Gunning, JP Cormier and Terra Spencer played their hearts out for us last Saturday night. It was so nice hearing musicians respectfully using the name of Jesus Christ on a secular stage, along with the beautifully-played and sung carols they performed at the concert end! Dave is really funny! Congratulations to them all...I wouldn't miss them. One of my favourite concerts of all time!

Entertaining, comical and heartfelt entertainment. Seniors at my front table who didn’t even know these two, ( Dave Gunning & JP Cormier), walked away with a great appreciation for not only world class musicians but for phenomenal East Coast humility and humour.

Dave Gunning is an incredible performer. He is also an amazing guitarist. His songs are a collection of warm personable stories. A thoroughly enjoyable show. Looking forward to seeing him again soon!
