Yukka

Yukka is an indie Dutch Pop/rockband, founded in 1995. Nowadays, the band is compared with various groups including The Stereophonics, Paul Weller and The Afghan Whigs.

The band has done over a hundred live shows, festivals, radio and television performances.

In 2005, the band released the CD Still. Two years before this, the CD It Isn't Safe was released. From this CD Yukka released a single and video. This video has been broadcast at MTV Holland and The Box.

In December 2005 guitar player Ivo Maassen joined the band.

After a break of 10 years the band hit stages again in 2018 and released a new EP.
