Bob Dylan

One of the best shows I’ve been to. Bob was in such fine form. His voice was great, the band was fantastic, especially the new guitarists, and his setlist was awesome. Obviously not the hits, but it was fantastic if you know the songs, and the songs are worth knowing. Phone free show, but people snuck some pictures at the end. Jimmie Vaughan was a fantastic opener, one of the tightest bands I’ve seen, and Lucinda Williams was good.

Bob was great, he didn’t go for the big hits but rather deep cuts & covers so you had no idea what was coming next could just let the music wash over you. Julian Lage was a welcome addition to the band. Jimmie Vaughan & The Tilt a Whirl Band were tremendous also (the best of the bill & that’s really saying something considering I absolutely loved all 3 artists), one of the best guitarists I’ve ever seen! He played a lot of classic blues & rock tunes as well as some of his original work or in the Vaughan Brothers. Brittney Spencer was a great opener too a great new voice in country.

Amazing. Absolutely mind blowing and soul changing. It's not what you think will happen or maybe even hoped it would be... but you needed it. Mystic and beautiful. No photos or videos... Mr. Dylan demands it! Thank you to Lucinda Williams and John Doe for amazing performances, as well! Loved it.

This was my 3rd Bob show in the recent years and without question the best. His singing was on point and the arrangements excellent. Would love to have had more of a balance of tracks from through the years but I can understand that he and the band are still 'working' these new tracks. Perhaps we'll hear 'Murder Most Foul' live one day?! That would be something. Brilliant gig!

Biblical rain didn’t dampen my enthusiasm and this was a great gig. Sound was excellent and Bob’s voice still sounds like Bob’s voice despite his age. I’d looked up the setlist so that helped me enjoy it. Was it fair to have stage so dark you could actually see him other than silhouette? No. Is it arrogant and aloof that he can’t even put a hand up , wave, or say cheers to an audience paying a fortune to see him and sitting in their sodden clothes. Yes. Very.

Last night (10th November 2025) in Swansea An excellent concert with so much interesting content from across his career.  We had great seats, with a great view of Bob at the two keyboards. The seats were 3 rows from the front off to the right-hand side of the stage as you face at it.  Dylan was centre stage and only some 20 feet or so from us (shame our phones had to be submitted on entry to Arena).  However, I imagine that if we were 7 or 8 seats further to the right , you would not be able to see him.  And I guess that must have been the case for most of the capacity audience. Bob cam on stage with the band and immediately began loosening up with a jam that eventually moved into It AInt Me Babe with Bob appearing to forget the lyrics.  He had masses of paper on the piano stand through which he occasionally rummaged.  The opening number set the tempo for the evening a set of familiar songs at medium tempo with his piano very much to the fore.  It was as though he had let us into his home and there he is jamming with a few friends, welcome one and all!  I should say that the band were superb in following Bob and taking their solos.  At that level, it was a really laid back satisfying experience.   Highlights for me were I Contain Multitudes, False Prophet, Desolation Row and Its All Over Now Baby Blue.  Bob did not say a word during the entire performance and at the conclusion of Every Grain Of Sand left the stage to thunderous applause.  He did not play an encore. We came away really happy, having witnessed a great show.

Bob was Bob. He blazes his own trail. You can jump on the train and enjoy the journey or enjoy something else. I and thousands of attendees took the ticket and enjoyed the ride. The ride was dimly lit. Reflective Wordy. His fellow musicians followed every step watching every nuance playing flawlessly. Bob played what he wanted never condescending to latest trends. A perfect evening from the man from the North Country.

Fabulous evening. Forgot how nice the RAH was visually (although the curvature of the venue was slightly underwhelming). Bob Dylan and his band played a terrific set of music, more of a star studded setlist than the previous time he played London (albeit there did feel like a divide between songs a bit).

it was great! i’m glad i got to see him. however, i wish he talked to the audience more or played some of his old stuff though. besides that it was a great show and i would totally see him again :)

Bob played a wonderful show! He was full voiced and his band really played well. This tour will not bring you a “hit parade “ of Dylan songs. This tour is Bob & band playing his latest album. If you get a “Gotta Serve Somebody” song played in a spirited fashion you should consider yourself fortunate. He only came from behind the piano about 5 times. The rest of the time he was concentrating on playing and singing. Which at 80 years old I believe he gave a wonderful performance albeit a little odd. Bob, please do an encore one day, just for old times sake. That was the most abrupt ending I have ever witnessed barring a calamity. I still hold you in high regard and believe you to be a true American treasure! ❤️

Don’t go expecting him to sound like he did 30 years ago, but if you want to see a legend put new spins on his songs definitely go see! I saw him last year and this time was even better, played the harmonica and guitar as well as piano!

Efter att ha visiterats vid insläpp och sett trehundra skyltar med överstrukna kameror meddelas i högtalarna att man absolut inte får filma, fota eller på annat sätt dokumentera föreställningen. Och så fort en telefondisplay lyser i publikhavet är en vakt på plats. Exakt på utsatt tid går Mr Zimmerman på scen med sina 4 bandkollegor. Scandinavium håller fortfarande på att fyllas av folk och dörrar öppnas och stängs och släpper in sommarsolen i mörkret och tar med sig lite av den magi som försökerbinda oss. På scen är Bob Dylan utan storbildsskärmar, så från vår läktarplats ser bandet så litet ut att de ser ut som de lirar på en midsommarscen på håll. Men låter bra det gör det. ”Things Have Change” inleder kvällen och trots att ljuset distraherar varje gång en dörr öppnas på andra sidan arenan så tänker jag: ”det här kommer bli en bra spelning, rösten är stark och inte alls sliten”. Förhoppningarna stiger. Men redan i låt nummer två – en av hans bästa låtar - börjar magin svalna. ”It Ain’t Me Babe” svajar. Han insisterar på att omarbeta alla sina låtar, ingen får låta som den gjorde på skiva. Ikväll mumlar han så i den här låten att man knappt hör att det är engelska han sjunger på. ”Highway 61 Revisited” följer och nu undrar jag om jag bara uppskattade kvällens första låt för att jag blev så tagen av att faktiskt andas samma luft som vår tids största låtskrivare. Bandet kokar, Bob spelar bra, rösten är stark, men han artikulerar så illa att man inte ens hör orden emellanåt. ”Can’t Wait”, ”When I Paint My Masterpiece”, ”Honest With Me” passerar obemärkta… I “Tryin’ To Get To Heaven” känns det som att Bob anstränger sig lite för att vi skall höra orden. Det nya arrangemanget funkar fint. Hade han spottat ut ullvanten han har i munnen så hade detta varit ett magiskt ögonblick. Nu blir det istället en glimt av storhet och en önskan om att han levererat den snäppet bättre. ”Scarlet Town” följer och när Bob reser sig från pianot och står upp och sjunger låter det faktiskt bättre. Den här versionen kan vi ta med hem. Tillsammans med låten innan känns det som att konserten börjar leverera. Ett nytt snabbare arr av ”Make You Feel My Love” som totalt förstör känslan i de vackra orden följer och nu har jag börjat inse att den här kvällen kan gå hur som helst. ”Pay In Blood” bjuder på fullt countryarr med steel guitar. Vidare. ”Like A Rolling Stone” följer i helt oigenkännlig kostym. Men arret är faktiskt asnice! Bandet kokar, Bob levererar, men betyget dras ner ännu en gång på grund av att han inte kan artikulera – man hör nästan inte ett enda ord. Men som sagtarrangemanget funkar på denna odödliga klassiker. ”Early Roman Kings” är inge vidare på platta, visst bandet levererar ordentligt bluesgung – men Bob mer frustar än sjunger. ”Girl From North Country” är en av mina absoluta Dylanfavoriter, och efter att ha läst att han gjort den rättvisa i Stockholm för två dagar sen, så kan jag inte låta bli. Jag trotsar fotoförbudet och filmar i smyg under min tröja. Vad jag fångar är nog kvällens höjdpunkt. Här är det Dylan, piano och steel guitar. Man hör vad han sjunger och det känns äkta hela vägen. Hatten har han tagit av sig och lagt på pianot. Hans vita krulliga hår står åt alla håll. ”Love Sick” en nyfunnen favorit hos mig, får även den en ny kostym och vinner inget direkt på det. ”Thunder On The Mountain” med världens märkligaste referens: ” I was thinkin' 'bout Alicia Keys, couldn't keep from crying, I'm wondering where in the world Alicia Keys could be” mumlas fram och känns bara rutin av bandet. “Soon After Midnight”, “Gotta Serve Somebody” och sen bockar de och lämnar scenen. Självklart blir det extranummer, tyvärr. ”Blowin’ In The Wind” är katastrof, fruktansvärd, oförlåtlig. Ny arret är värdelöst, Dylan låter totalt ointresserad. Här kunde han ju tagit ner låten och framfört den avskalat och långsamt. Men vi får istället en countryångande vals. Det serveras en gryta med på tok för mycket ingredienser - så den smakar just ingenting. Och igen hör vi knappt ett ord, utan mer stötande ljud från Bob. ”It Takes a Lot to Laugh, It Takes a Train to Cry” framförs, men chocken av just hört ”Blowin’ In The Wind” våldtas gör att jag inte ens kan ta in den här låten. Bandet ställer sig på rad, bockar och försvinner av scenen. Sammanfattningsvis: Bob säger inte ett ord under hela kvällen. Han lirar fortfarande jävligt bra munspel. Never Ending Tour har passerat 3000 spelningar,  och frågan är om han inte kommer hit en sväng till innan den är över.

Maravilloso. No soy un fan de Dylan, pero tenía ganas de verlo, por curiosidad. Mis expectativas no eran muy altas y las superó con creces. La iluminación fue acertadísima, a pesar de ser un espacio grande, logró un ambiente intimista. El sonido fue bestial, se escuchaban todos los instrumentos con una nitidez tremenda. Dylan y su banda estuvieron fantásticos, su voz se mantiene en un gran estado de forma, y los músicos eran muy sobrios. Un buen repaso a varios géneros de la música americana y la sensación de satisfacción por haber visto a una leyenda de la música.

Love him as he is an icon. Sounded great on everything but played so few recognisable songs. I am the slightest bit too young to have been paying attention when he was the most creative. I had never seen him before. Also hoped for one Traveling Wilburys or a Tom Petty song to honour TP!!- So glad I went no matter what!
