About Jimmy Gnecco
Jimmy Gnecco is the iconic voice, presence, writer and multi-instrumentalist behind the American band OURS, and an island unto himself. He has earned the love and respect of musicians of all musical genres, as well as some of the greatest producers and music industry executives of our time.
Jimmy has lent his voice to numerous songs and projects, including those with Brian May of Queen, Robert DeLeo of the Stone Temple Pilots, Never Ending White Lights, and Of 1,000 Faces.
Either with his band OURS or solo, Jimmy has toured with everyone from Lana Del Rey to A-Ha, via The Cult, The Wallflowers, Powderfinger, Filter, Blue October, Peter Murphy, Circa Survive, Royston Langdon (Spacehog), Citizen Cope, Pete Yorn, Ocean Colour Scene, The Gutter Twins (Greg Dulli and Mark Lanegan), ...
He also holds the microphone live for the band Humanist, with whom he tours Europe in 2024, whether as a headliner in the UK (in October), or as support act for Depeche Mode, or for Jane's Addiction.
An alchemist of emotions, Jimmy Gnecco has put his heart and soul into the songs on his new album, “New Age Heroine” (released on September 20, 2024), to find a way of transcribing the complex range of feelings that define the humanity of each and every one of us, to offer the world something that transcends all that, in a surge of love, compassion, forgiveness, understanding... Or how to turn music and words into something more beautiful, something greater; like turning lead into gold.
