the Chain Reaction

Hey we're The Chain Reaction, a young funk rock band from Drogheda, Co. Louth, different from every other band. The band currently consists of Conor Cody (Lead Vocals), Rob Gaffney (Lead Guitar), Jack Sheeran (Bass) and Declan Behan (Drums). We love playing gigs and always are looking for more. The band was formed in October 2010 by Declan Behan and Rob Gaffney. Jack Sheeran and Patrick Shortall then joined within weeks. The band started jamming on a weekly basis and have started properly playing. The band played their first gig in McHugh's Drogheda on Saturday 30th April 2011, which was hosted by Epic Fail Gigs. In May 2011 Patrick Shortall left the band and was replaced by Chloe Leddy as the band's new lead singer. The band has continued playing more gigs and love what they do. The band has played in many venues across Drogheda, most notable the T.L.T. In September 2011, The Chain Reaction took part in the Battle Of The Bands in The Purpleroom and made it into the final on 30th September and finished second place overall, having being the opening band. In April 2012 Conor Cody Replaced Chloe Leddy and is now the current singer.
