The National

The concert was amazing! The setlist was awesome, featuring the best of The National. Matt and the band were killing it on stage. The venue was stunning, but it was a bit of a downer that people on the balconies had to stay seated, which kind of killed the vibe up there. On the other hand, the main floor was buzzing with energy, and Matt interacted with the crowd, creating an electric atmosphere. I had a fantastic time. The National definitely proved they are one of the best bands in the world.

Had the time of my life, so good to finally see them live after all these years. Impressed by the way they changed set list for every show and paid homage to their full repertoire of albums

This concert was everything I had hoped. I’d come to resolution that I was going to have to see them in a larger city, so I was thrilled when I saw they were playing in an intimate venue in Tulsa. My teenaged son and I had the best evening with you. Thank you for the music you continue to make and the show you gave Tulsans. There were several songs I’d hoped to hear, but that’ll just give me an excuse to find y’all again. Of course, I was introduced to a few I don’t know, so we’re all square.

Mind numbingly good. Immense energy and charisma. One of the best concerts I have even been to. They just kept giving the audience more, think they played for 2.5 hours straight - or very close! Totally impressed.

Great show which was around two hours long and no repeats. While I like the venue, travel to and from is one of the most awkward in London. That is now compounded by the new parking system. Signs up saying must pay via app, terrible signal there so if you don’t have it is an issue, that with the time needed to register etc in poor lighting. Except, as you walk up, attendants say you can pay at a terminal further up, took edge off a great show and evening.

Incredibly talented band - I can see why they are Grammy Award winning. They put on a clean show and covered all of their hits and many new songs. Indigo Spark covered and was great as well.

Great evening. The National were in top form and seemed to be into it, which makes a difference. The venue is good, and this time they didn’t oversell the venue like they did when The NATL came in 2019. Much mucho better.

I have to admit that their previous show at the Schnitzer was much better sonically, and I favored the set list of that show as well. That said, The National never disappoint! Hey Rosey with the heavy grand piano was intense! This was my fourth National show, and I will never miss one.

The circumstances behind the very cumbersome way the venue handled the dozen or so of us that were there hours early to get up on the rail, as well as the weather evacuation and subsequent reentry into the event, the show was absolutely phenomenal.

The National were great. My first time seeing them live and it was better than my expectations. Having Hannah up there with them gave the performance an added bonus. The concert facility and set up left a lot to be desired. It was actually one of the poorest organized events that I have been to unfortunately. From the layout of the grounds, to where they put the food trucks (in the narrow walkway to the washrooms), to the small funnelled entrance and exit. They did not have enough food trucks (or the trucks couldn't process people fast enough). It was nice that there was no lineup for drinks... oh wait.... beer was $13.... that's why there was no line up. Easy summary, too many people for such few facilities they way it was set up.

Great to hear so much of the new album really loving it. Could of played four more hours of older songs and I would of been like I really wished they played Dolled Up In Straps

The National were absolutely amazing as always but OMG the lines to get in were terrible. One working ticket scanner at the gates for a sold out show...I got there early and it took me 45 min to get in. I know that some people were in line for almost 2 hours.

Matt could read from the phone book and it would be compelling. Movie and Q & A were nicely different, and I enjoyed the new music very much. It’s pretty obvious there are some immediately accessible songs on the new record, can’t wait to enjoy repeated listenings. Light Years already haunts me...... They kicked it up a notch during the encore, but still I didn’t get to hear them do Mistaken for Strangers! Maybe in Hamilton!

Just a gorgeous night (lol) at Starlight exuberantly dancing in the pouring rain with Matt Berninger and my favorite band! Definitely a night to remember, thank you to The National for rewarding the huge crowd with a stellar show!

The National ALWAYS puts on a great show. Went to night two (thanks so much for the tickets!) and it was great to hear some more of the older songs, especially Squalor Victoria. Terrific venue!

Grasping fingers with Matt Berninger and helping to keep him aloft with a hand over his heart as he crowd surfed singing Mr. November, screaming the lyrics right back “I used to be carried in the arms of cheerleaders” is one of new favorite memories ever. Thank you to The National!!!! You’re all amazing.

great show but Matt was hammered and it seemed like the rest of the band, especially Bryce, was not amused. Loved when Matt came into the crowd. I patted him on the back. still a great show, but I've seen them better. the new album stuff was great too!

I love the National and the show was great. I would have given 5 stars if the lead singer hadn’t of tried 3 times to sing the first song that kicked off their show.

The band put on a great show as usual. I felt like the sound mixing wasn't very good though - some instruments and mics buried and muffled, while others were cranked and distorted. Not the first time I've experienced that at the Paramount though. That part was disappointing.

Mostly new tracks which you'll begin to love too, a few oldies thrown in with the brilliant Mr November and Vanderlyle unplugged at the end (depending on the venue I believe) The National are superb and I'll see them every time they're in Scotland.
