Keys&Cages

Keys&Cages is a recent band born in Turin in 2012 , thanks to the match of five musicians all coming from different projects. The band ,influenced by pop and indie-rock sounds, finds out that everything works just fine since the first rehearsals . After a few months, Ramona (vocals) Fulvio ( drummer) Pietro and Andrea (guitarists) and the bass player Emanuele stepped into the studio for the first time together to record their first EP, "Exposed" (produced by Andrea Fusini). Later after, the video of Move Slow was released " and was chosen by MTV New Generation, allowing the band to become the Artist of the month. Keys and Cages began then with a series of concerts, also performing some acoustic gigs in independent radios and clubs including Lapsus, Audiodrome, Lab, Magazzini sul Po and Hiroshima Mon Amour. In May 2012 they played live for the selection of Cornetto Summer of Music Negramaro Contest for MTV New Generation. In 2013 they released their second single titled "Timeless". In 2014, the band entered the contest Emergenza Rock, competing in the final held on the stage of the Hiroshima Mon Amour in Turin. Later they released the video for their third single "Undercover". Once they completed an intense period of concerts, they started a busy period of composition and creation, integrating the indie sound with new electronic sounds. In June 2015 they’re hitting the studio to record the new single "Invisible" that marks a turning point in the band's sound. Together with their producer Andrea Fusini, the band is currently working on new tracks. At the beginning of 2016 they signed with label CDF Records and publish their new single INVISIBLE published on Mtv New Generation too. ITA: I Keys&Cages sono una band di recentissima formazione. Nascono a Torino nel 2012 con l’unione di 5 musicisti provenienti da progetti diversi. Il gruppo, influenzato da sonorità pop e indie-rock, risulta funzionare fin dalle prime prove. Dopo pochi mesi, Ramona alla voce, Fulvio alla batteria, Pietro e Andrea alle chitarre e Emanuele al basso entrano per la prima volta in studio e cominciamo la registrazione del loro primo EP, ”Exposed” (prodotto da Andrea Fusini), quindi esce il loro primo singolo ”Move Slow” che viene scelto da MTV New Generation come Artista del mese. I Keys&Cages iniziano anche una serie di concerti nei locali torinesi tra cui Lapsus, Audiodrome, Lab, Magazzini sul Po, Lavanderie Ramone e Hiroshima Mon Amour eseguendo anche alcune performance acustiche per radio indipendenti e locali torinesi. A Maggio 2012 suonano live per le selezioni del Cornetto Summer of Music Negramaro Contest per MTV New Generation. Nel 2013 pubblicano il loro secondo singolo da titolo “Timeless”. Nel 2014 partecipano al contest musicale Emergenza Rock fino alla fase finale regionale svoltasi sul palco dell’Hiroshima Mon Amour di Torino. In seguito pubblicano il video del loro terzo singolo “Undercover”. Finito un intenso periodo di concerti, tornano a comporre, integrando il sound indie con nuove sonorità elettroniche e cosi che a inizio 2016 firmano per l'etichetta discografica CDF Records e pubblicano il loro nuovo singolo INVISIBLE che viene anch'esso pubblicato su Mtv New Generation. http://www.keysandcages.com
