Bob Mould

Bob and the band just came out and just tore into their set like there was no tomorrow! They went through 6 or 7 songs with little to no break in between before he took a little time to talk. The band was TIGHT!! He was all over the stage during his set and has the energy of a man half his age…it’s absolutely incredible to watch! I would describe the show as being kicked in the teeth right from the beginning, never letting up, and left you begging for more after the last song! Any time Bob tours, it’s a MUST SEE show!!

Great venue. Not been before (I am visiting from the UK). First time seeing Bob Mould live. Been following him from Husker Du days. He and his band were amazing. Relentless, powerful in your face energy and intellect. Bob lived up to expectations and exceeded them. His passion and talent are unsurpassed.

Fantastic venue. This was my first time to see a show and Bob did a fantastic job introducing me to Codfish Hollow. Bob is touring this year to promote his new album, "Here We Go Crazy" and while I've been to other Bob performances, this one wasn't as LOUD and in your face. Which for me, was perfect. He rocked for a good 90 minutes with very little breaks between songs. The magic of Bob, Jason Narducy, the bassist, and drummer, Jon Wurster was palpable. For those visiting this venue for the first time, it is basically a farm. Wear clothing and shoes appropriate with walking in dirt, uneven ground, and gravel. Your clothes could get dusty - not pigsty dirty but definitely not a place to show off your new threads.

I saw Husker Du in '85. Saw Sugar about 10 years later. In 2025 Bob Mould has as much energy and passion on the stage as he ever has. He pulled so much fire & emotion out of that Stratocaster! I am amazed everytime I see him play. This set had songs from his new album, older solo stuff, and worked backwards in time to some Husker Du classics. As a fan for 30-some years, I couldn't have asked for more.

What a mile-marker in my long long music-listening avocation. To see Bob Mould and his top grade crew in that well-known and small music room is a privilege indeed. The sound of that guitar through those amps with his hand and voice has been a constant companion to me since 1982. Thank you for continuing to give us such fantastic sound and song writing artistry, Mr. Bob Mould! You bring it and send it every time. John Saul

Bob brings a great energy to his shows. He is so enthusiastic about his songs conveying the emotions behind them, that it's hard to not enjoy every minute you're with him. It was a good variety of old and new, with some brand new thrown in for good mix.

Bob Mould was in great voice and gave a wonderful solo electric show. I would encourage anyone to go out to see him when he is in town.

Bob, Jon, and Jason always bring it. Count on a great show, mix of songs from all albums, even Hüsker Dü and Sugar. Don't walk, run to any show with Bob!

I would have preferred to see Bob with a full band but he gave everything he had and it sounded good, loud and he still has an exceptional voice at 61 years old. A really fun show and he hung out casually w/ the crowd afterwards. Merch table was loaded with good Mould and Sugar stuff.

Bob Rocked!....as he always does...perpetually 19 years old on stage! Main act and opener traveling the country with a single Fender 15" speaker amp and one mic.....so punk rock! Only downside was the Napoleon Staffer who tried hard to push me out right before Bob came to the Merch table to sign my purchased LPs. Oriental Theater: train your young staff to respect the artists and their long-time supporters.

Bob was in great form and obviously in a great mood being back on stage after the long pandemic break. He was also very vocally appreciative for the size of the crowd and our compliance with the proof of vax and masking requirements. As for the show, it was blazing from start to finish. It started out with more recent stuff but the band soon began to mix in a lot of older tunes from the Hüsker Dü and Sugar days. And they just kept playing. Non-stop. No time between songs, except a couple of brief moments when Bob expressed again his gratitude. Near the end he announced they would normally take a break and come back but the air conditioning blowing onto the stage would fuck up his guitar tuning so they were just gonna keep playing. And so it was. For two full non-stop glorious hours Bob Mould and his band ruled Portland.

Another masterful performance! He simply rocked, my head is still ringing from the volume. Bob's guitar playing was at its finest. Jon and Jason were as solid as always but this was Bob's night. Loved the way he soaked up the adulation after the encore.

Haven't seen Bob & Company play for quite some time and worth the trip for me to drive from New Jersey to Brooklyn to see them perform... was always a big fan of huzker du and Bobs solo work and he pulled quite a few songs out of his discography and was rather impressed and delighted!

Great show! Bob Mould looked and sounded better that I’ve seen him look in years. His energy was great and the band was super tight. He even threw in a few of the old Hüsker Du classics to keep the old timers happy!

Despite the rain delay, and I am guessing abbreviated set due to time limit/curfew, Bob and band packed a lot in to 70mins! Husker Du, Sugar and solo work all interspersed at record speed! Great show despite the weather.

This was maybe my 8th Bob Mould show and he just keeps getting and better. He's got energy to burn and the band is rock solid.Bob Bonus: The couple fave Husker tracks that always make it into the set and encore.

Damn glad I was there!! Solo electric frenzy!! I tried to get him to sign a book about Husker Du that I knew he wouldn't but we both a great laugh about me trying!! :-)

Bob always brings the rock! Minimal chatter & song after song, kicking out the jams! A lot of tunes from the new LP, some great selections from his extensive catalog, and a full on assault of awesome.

Spectacular show. Played a full range of his fabulous library, from Hüsker Dü through Sugar to his latest. Closing his encore with the Mary Tyler Moore theme was great.

Bob is fantastic - hearing the Sugar songs, new songs from Beauty & Ruin and other solo and Husker Du classics made this a show I won't ever forget.
