About The Mudhens

The Mudhens were a five piece Boston band whose sound was described as a cross between rock, pop, jazz. The band played continuously throughout the northeast and amassed a large and loyal following before calling it quits on December 31, 2002. In 1997 the Mudhens played several dates upon the HORDE tour, sharing the stage with the likes of Neil Young, Ben Folds Five, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Guster, Cake and others. Billboard Magazine called the band 'one of the most adventurous bands', take a listen and find out why. The group's worked closely with producer Anthony J. Resta (Collective Soul, Shawn Mullins, Duran Duran) on several of their recordings. Some of the Mudhens songs are available on iTunes, while some of the CDs can be found on amazon.com. While active, the Mudhens recorded 5 CDs and sold over 25,000 copies.

The Mudhens will be reuniting on March 10th, 2007 at Harpers Ferry (http://www.harpersferryboston.com) in Allston, MA.
