About Otherkin
Consequence Of Sound: "Despite its title, “Bad Advice” certainly feels like a good time. It’s a hook-filled thrasher that blends the attitude of The Clash with the peppier pop-leaning moments of earlier The Libertines."
Clash Magazine: 'Matching feral grunge riffs to uproarious, hugely infectious songwriting, new single 'Ay Ay' is nothing less than a total banger. The sound of a young band truly coming into their own.'
NME Magazine: 'OTHERKIN play natty Britpop. Debut single 'AY AY' is more 1996 sounding than an overdriven VOX AC30 and Epiphone Rivera combo, calling to mind early Oasis. If their live show is half as rowdy they'll blaze a helter-skelter trail on the toilet circuit."
The Independent: "Basically they're just a big mass of energy - four guys who write hugely infectious tracks with rough, snarling vocals and grunge riffs."
Fred Perry Subculture: "Otherkin are a four-piece punky new-wave pop band from Dublin, who manage to channel all the raucous spirit and energy from the last twenty years' worth of British guitar bands."
This Feeling: "'Huge riffs, huge choruses, huge live, huge songs. Already all over the likes of Radio 1, Radio X and MTV Rocks. There is zero doubt 2016 is gonna be massive for these boys."
Gigslutz: "Their monster tune ‘Ay Ay’ is today’s This Feeling Track Of The Day, but also not to be missed is their even bigger EP The 201 featuring the freshest tunes from what could be the most exciting new band of the year."
Artrocker: 'A must see band who bring optimistic rock back to the clubs'
