Bambara

This is the first time I’ve bothered to leave a rating on Bandsintown and it’s only because this was the best g*****n rock show I’ve been to this year. Incredible live act and really nice guys, to boot.

Love this band! Put on such a great show! They are so talented!!! I do wish it wasn’t at kilby though, the sound would’ve been even more amazing somewhere else.

Opening bands had some good moments. Bambara blew the roof off. So loud and had one 3-4 song stretch that really hit the gas.

Sending time seeing these guys, once again a great experience! They have such a unique sound and on-stage presence

Great energy, the guys know how to put on a show. Solid crowd etiquette and fantastic in-person sound

Amazing show, I had so much fun and the energy there was great. Small venue though

Unfortunately, like often with such guitars bands on stage, the sound was awful. I think this is mainly due to poorly balanced instruments, but also, to a lesser extent, to the band's will to play as loud as possible. Thus guitar melodies, and even words sung by Bateh Reid were hardly perceived. So, quite disappointed... I put 4 stars anyway, because I do like this band, but also for the incredible energy that Blaze Reid put in drumming. BTW, his stage dressing was totally improbable: illustrated shirt, large sport shorts with high socks and black shoes... Also, they were preceded by the Canadians Crack Cloud who delivers a very good set, well balanced this time, even with four guitars plus a bass (but OK, their music is pretty different from Bambara).

Bambara pummeled the crowd with their s**y heavy Birthday Party inspired rock. One of the better bands around right now.
