TAKE THE REINS is a Chicago area rock band with the most recent album released in 2017,

Called "an explosive mix of Joan Jett and The Pretenders", this is the debut album from the mid-west punk rock band, TAKE THE REINS. Frontwoman/vocalist Courtney Boyers & crew churn out 12 hard-hitting tracks exploring varying themes on addiction, despair and defiance. Founded in 2011, TTR is now a collection of members of several local greats - Mostly About Nothing, She Likes Todd - to create their distinctive sound.
