Formed in 2012, The Tale Of My Defeat is a metal band from Bethel and New Fairfield, Connecticut. The band is mainly influenced by hardcore music, and so the output follows suit. Incorporating intricate and melodic guitar leads, powerful ambiance and an overall crushingly fast pace, The Tale of My Defeat strives to provide an experience that grabs you by the throat and keeps you listening until the very end. The band also endeavors to provide substance to each song through their lyrics, hoping to spread awareness on topics such as social revolution, self-hatred and the overcoming of demons bringing people to their knees. With everything set in place, TTOMD plans to write and record more music to show the world as soon as possible.
