Just a fabulous concert.. The Buckinghams opened for California Transit Authority, which is Danny Seraphine’s dream band, re-tooling Chicago hits, Plus a touch of jazz and blues.. highlights of the night included a really dynamic merging of CTA and the Buckinghams for the encore..
The energy in the room was absolutely electric..

The Buckinghams were as awesome as usual! They were the final band to perform, they definitely were a true example of "saving the best for last"!! They've been together for so many years & I think they might even get together & practice their tunes on a regular basis. They performed their set like they were a fine tuned machine. Bravo to The Buckinghams!!! I've seen them perform quite a few times over the years & have never been disappointed after seeing them perform! Looking forward to seeing them perform again soon.

About The Buckinghams
In 1967, five kids from the west side of Chicago had a huge hit on their hands with the recording of "Kind Of A Drag". Soon the pop song reached #1 on the charts and the group named after the famous fountain in Chicago's Grant Park were making appearances on the top TV shows like Ed Sullivan, American Bandstand, and The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour. While The Buckinghams never produced another #1 hit, their blend of good old fashioned rock-n-roll makes them an attraction to this day.
The Buckinghams have performed across the country to capacity crowds with other artists of similar stature like The Turtles, Tommy James and the Shondells, Gary Puckett and The Union Gap, along with The Grass Roots.
The Buckinghams sang the national anthem at Comiskey Park before game one of the American Baseball League playoffs in 2004.
