MONTAG MANIA released their debut album "Piraya" (Love Bomb Music) in the beginning of 2006). The debut album recieved a lot of good attention and reviews and the time after was spent playing live shows at clubs and festivals, supporting Daniel Lanois and Amparanoia when they visited Sweden. The track "Piraya" made it to the soundtrack of the film “Made in Yugoslavia” by Miko Lazic. Finally the video to “Piraya” was shown at Europavox Festival in France and represented Sweden on the festival compilation (of the same name). The new album will be a different story with a different sound. Tropical Birds Out Now! a futuristic, ambient dancerecord with elements of brazilian tropicalia, highlife & avantgarde pop.
