About Mauto
Born in Rome in 1975, Mauto is an Italian songwriter, arranger, piano and accordion player.
As a musician he played with international famous artists (il Volo, Kacey Musgraves, Kevin Costner, Tony Renis, Marcello Giordani) and many more Italian actors and singers; he also writes jingles, soundtracks and arrangements in collaboration with other artists for great famous Italians artists (Andrea Bocelli) and international events (GMG 2013).
First solo album “Cosa cambia”, recorded in Rome and mixed in Los Angeles with the producer and arranger Jurij Gianluca Ricotti, was released on August 2012 and contains a tribute to the Romeo and Juliet by W. Shakespeare (Nome) and to the french poet Jacques Prévert (Cuor di rubino). With this album he won different and prestigious awards (TalentixNatura, Premio SIAE Mauro Carratta, Premio Pigro, MEI Faenza, Premio Donida, Biella Festival, GenovaxVoi) and the related tour in Italy has had over 100 dates (Rome, Milan, Florence, Naples, and many more).
On 2014 he also played on Palco Smeraldo of Eataly (the famous brand of Italy food in the world) and Mille Luci Accese song was published in its own compilation “Eataly Live Project” by Sony Music.
In the meantime, he has collaborated in others various projects and, in December 2018, is published his first collection of poems, “E tutto si riveste di nuovo”.
“La tua rivoluzione”, cover of Tracy Chapman song “Talkin ‘bout a revolution”, was released on may 1st, 2020, which will be part of the new album “Il tempo migliore” out in September, whose first single “L’Itaglia (Aida s’è persa)” will be released on July 2020, 21.
