(English below) FR: Shot In The Head est né en avril 2014, à l’initiative de Julien Costea, Thomas Pidia et Nicolas Roupin, respectivement deux chanteurs et Guitariste, suite à un projet scolaire. Ils se donnèrent comme but de composer des morceaux de metal accompagnés d’un clip amateur et de les mettre en ligne sur internet. En Juin, Antoine Gosselin intègre le groupe en tant que bassiste, toujours dans l’optique de sortir de nouveau morceaux sur internet. Christopher Cansier les rejoint en décembre 2014 en tant que batteur. Le groupe décide alors de revoir son orientation artistique et s’inscrit à un tremplin musical au Salon de Silly. Pour une première scène, le jury se montre étonné du résultat pour un premier concert de jeunes d’une moyenne d’âge de 18 ans, malgré de nombreux points encore à développer et à améliorer. En Mai le Line Up est renforcé par Cyril Moulin qui rejoint le groupe en tant que guitariste rythmique. Le groupe à enchaîné une quinzaine de dates dans le Hainaut et le nord de la France, se construisant une identité sonore de plus en plus reconnaissable et s’orientant vers leur genre actuel, un mélange de metal mélodique, de hardcore et de groove metal, se voulant à la fois mélodique, agressif et communicatif. Le groupe a déjà eu la chance de partager la scène avec de beaux noms tels que Komah, Drakkar, Smash Hit Combo, Wolves Scream, Stand For Truth, The Arrs, The Butcher’s rodeo… en Aout 2016, suite au départ de Cyril, le poste de guitariste rythmique est repris par théo Mellemans. En novembre 2016 le groupe sors son premier EP "Human weakness" reprenant d'anciennes compositions ainsi que quelques nouveautés.. de nouvelles compositions à la fois aussi mélodiques que brutales sont en cours d'écriture... le groupe prit la décision de continuer sans Thomas, Julien assurant désormais seul les parties chant. ////////////////////////////// ENG: Shot In The Head was born in April 2014, on the initiative of Julien Costea Pidia Thomas, and Nicolas Roupin respectively two singers and guitarist, following a school project. In august, cyril had to quit the band. Theo Mellemans joined the band in the nexts weeks. In november 2k16, the first EP of the band was out.
