About Peyton Naomi Leonard
I am an international author, nationally syndicated show host, singer, composer, and actress from a little town called Olney.
Music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I've always loved to sing, but I didn't get serious about it until the age of 10. I started writing my own music and teaching myself how to play piano around this time. An opera singer in my church taught me how to sing classically for 6 years. I went on to James Madison University, majoring in Vocal Performance - Opera. "Phantom of the Opera" inspired me to pursue opera, even though it's a musical.
While I was at JMU, I contracted Lyme disease and had to withdraw from school. It was a challenging time in my life. God used music to help me get back on my feet. I'm now in school again, but I'm getting my Bachelor's in English. I wrote my first book in 2016 and plan on publishing another book in the upcoming year.
Some really exciting stuff is happening in my career right now. I have my own show called Lyrically Lyme that integrates music and Lyme disease. I have a Grammy-Nominated producer that is coaching me and helping me record some music. Check out my store to see my latest project, A Journey with God! I have a second book that is being reviewed by a publisher. God has really been blessing my life despite the hardships I've endured.
