Kensaye

Kensaye is a French music producer, deejay and radio host based in London. He was raised by his Haitian mother and American father in Paris. The latter was a multi instrumentalist who performed with African legends such as Salif Keita, Papa Wemba, Bonga and more. Kensaye moved to London at the age of 15 and after finishing his studies, he embraced his heritage to pursue a career in music. As a self taught producer, he collaborated with a multitude of artists across the world. He also composed official remixes that earned him some notoriety in the blog world. He launched his own radio show on Ness Radio, a successful independent radio station based in Marrakech where he invites and interviews artists he loves. Kensaye has had the honour of performing in some of the most prestigious venues, such as the Barbican, Koko, jazz cafe and more. His musical direction can be pigeonholed into future world music, bending Afro- Caribbean traditional music with progressive urban sounds.
