Norman Brown

It was a wonderful evening, a bit disappointed that he didn’t perform any of his own music.. talked most of the show.. with that said he’s an amazing artist and had a great time!

Good show! NB should have done 1 encore since he was in his hometown.

The show was awesome! There was confusion as to the location because the promotion gave two sponsors and mentioned two locations 3 miles apart; so, we were late! Plus, some of the zoo's parking is a long walk; and the audience was mostly seniors and some elderly. We should have been better informed to accommodate patrons in wheelchairs or with canes.

Norman was great as always. He is an incredible musician, but he also shared some great stories. It was an awesome show.

Great show, Norman Brown puts on a great show and I will go see him again!

Simply the best! Great show. This man is a genius with his guitar. It’s quite fascinating for me to watch him play the way he does… incredible! If you haven’t seen him, it’s worth it.

Anticipation for the show, was high for me. The two artists that was on before Norman were great openings acts. How ever, Norman set was a little lack luster for Norman standard. Ths show had more low point and crowd seemed to notice Norman was a bit off kilter, with his performance. Over all, it was great to see Norman live.

Norman Brown is an outstanding artist and a master on his spirit catcher (his guitar). He is gifted beyond measure and the show was better than great!!! Can’t wait to see him perform again!

I had been wanting to see Normal Brown since before the pandemic. So, when I received the email that he was coming to Charleston, SC, I booked my flight from DC just to come to see him. He did not disappoint. I went back to my hotel afterward (a little sleepy) but went to sleep thinking about the show and how much I enjoyed it. These were the best air and hotel points I utilized to come to see someone I've admired for years. Thank you, Norman Brown, for sharing stories about how you started in the basement with your dad (playing chords) as he charmed you with the possibility of getting the car:)- I love it. Hats off to your dad for planting the seeds of greatness in you.

I enjoyed the concert but was expecting him to perform more of his traditional jazz hits versus the latest CD, Get Away, which I purchased after its release and found it less musically driven as his other CD, Heart to Heart and the 2020 CD, Highest, I believe. I like him at smaller venues when he can express himself through music. His rendition of Jimmi Hendrix, Wes Montgomery, and George Benson at this concert was awesome!!!! It really conveyed his musical diversity!!!

Norman Brown is a master guitarist and excellent showman. First time at Sugars for a concert and it was intimate with great sound and great food.

The concert was AMAZING!!! My husband and I traveled from Jacksonville Florida to attend the concert, and it was worth every mile of the drive!! We will definitely attend upcoming events at the Mableton amphitheater.

Norman did not disappoint and neither did the atmosphere at Sugars! Thoroughly enjoyed the show!

Just about the most excellent show you can see. Not just some very funky cool Christmas arrangements but outstanding jazz and the play all of their most famous tunes. Outstanding venue and sound!

It was so awesome to see this man perform that I went home and got tickets for his show in December.
