Veil of Maya

Veil of Maya has some great songs however some of them don’t transition to the live setting so well. I was well positioned and some of the tracks (Tokyo Chainsaw) lost the depth in the album versions as the guitar parts were not audible beyond the djenting. However the singer pulled off both the distorted and clean vocals very well and some of the songs were soaring especially near the end. As a first time listener of both bands, Nothing More had the crowd singing along and a compelling frontman but I found Wage War to draw me in more as they had some very intense parts perfect for headbanging at a live show.

It was a really fun show! I enjoyed the sound and performance from every band. Angelmaker had to pause their set near the end because of a person who had a seizure but they continued playing after all of that was dealt with. Loved it (P.S, Reflections was my favorite of the night 😊)

Amazing. Super packed but every band kicked ass. I had never seen veil of maya until this concert, but I’ll be seeing them again.

Cool venue and good opening bands... then a speaker burst into flames... and they had to cancel the rest of the show. Still a good time. Im sure VoM would have killed it, but...

The best first concert of the year that I have ever been to. Great venue, great bands, great crowd, excellent energy from the bands. What more could you ask for?

Truly amazing! All the bands put on a great show. I would say the best ones were definitely Left to Suffer and (of course) Veil of Maya. Both bands were great with the crowd, which made them stand out. I’ll also say Alluvial did very well. Specifically, Fogbelt sounded exactly like it does in the studio version. Angelmaker started out pretty weak, but after a few songs, they quickly became very good. Overall a very good show.

Veil was phenomenal. One of the best performances I’ve seen since they’ve had Lukas. I was hoping to hear some og songs but after seeing the rest of the lineup they were playing with it made sense why they didn’t. Marc, Sam, and Danny did 10/10 as usual. Solid night

Was really great to see Veil of Maya and Orbit Culture. Avatar was new for me, but they put on an entertaining show.

One of the best shows I’ve been to and my first show in 5 years! Veil and Boo did not disappoint nor did the opening acts!

Fourth time seeing these guys and they have never disappointed. They always bring 100% to every show and I couldn’t ask for more 🙏🏼🙏🏼

The bands were kick ass!! My only complaint is the bartenders thought it would be a good idea to serve Budweiser bombers in GLASS bottles at a metal show. Many bottles broke on the floor creating a dangerous situation for the guys in the pits, I would advise the staff to refrain from selling those again. Terraform got cut off early as well, which was quite sad considering they only played two songs.

Awesome show. Only let down was the singer of Veil of Maya was suddenly sick and didn't perform. There was no announcement either. They just started playing with no singer. It was strange. We really hoping to have a quick meet and greet too but the two main bands just took off after playing. Still super fun and great show.

It didn't really look like the frontman enjoyed the show. It's time for Veil of Maya to go on a tour on their own, so the people that show up and the band themself will enjoy the show.

This show had me locked in when cryptodira was on stage! All I could say was WoW! Strawberry Girls were Amazing as well! Intervals made me have eargasms ! Veil of Maya just blew my socks off! One of the best shows Ever! The talent alone was off the charts! Thanks for experience!

All great and great ambiance, the bouncer was on point, props for that guy he saved everyone :D, as for the sound, the first set was a bit loud for me, and then it got great but something change when Veil of Maya was playing, the sound felt kinda out of punch, then again Im not a sound or music expert by any stretch of imagination, but sometimes I could not hear Lukas vocals either, anyway the whole experience was awesome and it was a great show. Its worth mentioning that I was in the front row and did not use music earplugs.

They played an amazing set and had the crowd totally into everything they did! Very happy with the songs they played old and new! They didn't disappoint on any level!

The concert was amazing even though the merch guy was an asshole to everyone and sold me a xxl instead of a small size hoodie.
