Frozen Sun

Frozen Sun's second album, "Sea of Madness" is out now on Bandcamp.com, and will soon be available on all other digital platforms as well as CD! Group of young friends and musicians from Albany, New York. The band was originally named Frozen Sun some years ago by singer Jackson Tollerton, which later added guitarist Nick Stamas and bassist Peter Jones. They then switched to the name Blackout for some time. During this time the band added guitarist Tristen Jarvis and drummer Darryl Scott to complete the lineup of young hard rockers that went on to win the Upstate Concert Hall/Northern Lights Battle of the Bands in May of 2012. As of January 2013 the band switched back to the original name, Frozen Sun, for good. In early May 2013, Frozen Sun added Dhani Muniz to take over bass guitar duties, formerly held by bassist Peter Jones. In October of 2013 the band was awarded the 2013 Capital Region "Jammy Award" for the Best Band Under 18. In late December of 2013, the band welcomed Nick Davies to take over drum duties in place of long-time drummer Darryl Scott, completing the lineup at that time. In the fall of 2014, Frozen Sun officially released their self-titled, debut album "Frozen Sun" to all online media outlets as well as a physical line of CD's. In August of 2015, Frozen Sun announced that they were parting ways with their longtime heavy rhythm section in Dhani Muniz and Nick Davies due to personal and creative decisions. A month later, Frozen Sun welcomed in the powerful Maddie Rees to take over on bass guitar duties. In December of 2015, the band found friend and fan Tyler Fish to take over the thundering on the drum kit. In late 2017, long time guitarist Tristen Jarvis exited the group to move on to other pursuits. The band was lucky to find shredder Shawn McNair to take up the axe, completing the bands new lineup moving into 2018.
