Rafael Scarfullery

Rafael Scarfullery is a Dominican/American classical guitarist, composer, orchestral/choral conductor, organist and therapeutic musician. He has performed in various countries, including two solo recitals at Carnegie Hall. Rafael has a BM, MM and DMA in guitar performance, a MM in orchestral conducting, and four professional certifications from the American Guild of Organists. He teaches guitar at Randolph College, is the music director and organist at the Aldersgate United Methodist Church, and is a therapeutic musician at the UVA Hospital and the Hospice of the Piedmont. Rafael has a Youtube Channel (scarfulleryguitar) with hundreds of his guitar compositions and his purpose is to compose and share music to encourage compassion, healing and joy.
