About Above The Skyline
Diverse. Eclectic. Infectious. These are some of the words that can be used to describe Miami’s own Above The Skyline. The band creates catchy, melodic, rock songs and brings adrenaline to every live performance they have. Moreover, their music ranges from catchy pop rock tunes, to ballads, to old fashioned hard rockers. Using the dynamic of male and female vocals, as well as bringing the piano to the forefront of a rock band, has helped ATS stand out wherever they perform. The bands desire to not be pigeonholed into one genre, along with the varying musical influences of each member, has created the unique and singular sound that the band has become known for.
ATS released an award winning EP in 2014 called “A Different Breed” which garnered them a featured artist spot on Reverbnation in the months of February and March of 2015. The band’s music video for “Don’t Cut Out The Light” also won an award on the Indie Short Film circuit for Best Music Video. In 2016, the band released their first full length album “Go For Broke” which helped them receive five featured artist spots on Reverbnation. On the strength of the release, the band was invited to play multiple music conferences including the Florida Music Festival.
Above The Skyline is currently promoting their brand new album, “Fall Right Into Place” with newly added University of Miami Frost School of Music graduate, Sierra Karr, on lead female vocals. The rest of the line-up consists of lead male vocalist and pianist Zach Wood, lead guitarist Eric Green, bassist Alec Enriquez and drummer Chloe Santiago. “Fall Right Into Place” was released on March 1st and has great reviews in online publications.
ATS also performs covers from the 60's through today!
We hope you give us a listen on any streaming platform that you may use.
