Greta Van Fleet was awesome as always. Went to the IRVINE show and Sunday at the Palladium. The opening band was not very good. The sound system the were using was very muffled and not clear sounding at all. It was a disappointment. Please try to pick a better opener next time, was not impressed. Sorry but it is the truth.
I walked out of the show knowing that I had just witnessed one of the best moments of my life I have seen over 2 to 300 bands you name them and good chance I have seen them from Led Zeppelin to Nirvana to Incubus week before this show and I still think there up in top 3 performances I have ever seen it truly was magic I will never miss another one of there shows even if I have to go by my self plain and simply BAD ASS

It was spectacular- honestly the best concert I’ve ever been too. I was fortunate enough to get up in the 4th row and experience it up close.... there are no words to explain how perfect this show was- they only word I can think of that almost does it justice is ‘Translucent’. When the boys played... they seemed to be on a higher plain and you could just feel the energy radiating off of them. They were so entertaining and kept things flowing and maintained the fun-but-soulful sound throughout. The only down side to this is how they only played 12 tracks including encore.... as much as I wanted to hear them play more I understand how health risks are already being taken from Josh’s voice and Danny’s wrist. The stadium its self was very nice- it was clean and open, there was even a cool breeze throughout the night! There were quality concessions and lounging areas scattered through the stadium. The chairs there were in fact deal breaker- even in the pit, everyone got a chair and they were surprisingly comfortable even though I hardly sat in them. It was just amazing and I very highly recommend seeing them... thank you Greta Van Fleet! Goodnight, travel well!!!
Totally BLOWN AWAY!!! I was literally riding the high from that evening for such a long time!! Huge difference in their “recorded” EPs to experiencing them LIVE! The three brothers Josh on vocals, Jake wicked on the lead guitar , And Sam on bass have an authentic, raw chemistry that puts you in an ALL NATURAL state of euphoria. Danny is right along with them on drums! So young and humble to be so unbelievably talented! Was so grateful to be there!! I
Such an amazing performance! Josh has a great stage presence... his energy and interaction with the crowd is awesome. These guys have so much talent. I had an outstanding time and spent today feeling sad that it was over. I hope they come back to Wisconsin again soon! Oh, and the opener Ida Mae... super impressed with them too! Madison was lucky to see both acts perform together at the end!

They are a great band and gave it all for their show but they went off on riffs that all sounded similar and although we love Josh’s voice he needs to bring it down sometimes so all of his note are not of the same tone. Going up high once in while is great but staying up there for over an hour is too much. They could have played more songs from their album. I wanted to hear ‘Talk On The Street’. Very talented group!
