Hard to imagine seeing a double Juno award winner in a venue this intimate. It had the relaxed feel of an East Coast kitchen party, with several opportunities for singalongs. Chris is a joy to hear, with his clever but heartfelt songs and his master level skills on the banjo. There was a level of connection that only happens in a room this size, and the backstories of songs felt nothing like stage patter and more like anecdotes he’d choose to share with a group of friends.
