Jinxx

Jinxxie (AKA R. Syvonne Trent) started out in the NJ/NYC music scene in the mid 1990's, fusing electronica elements with punk rock guitar riffs and misfit attitude. As the music scene changed, she stepped away from the stage and ventured into music production and working behind the scenes, supporting underprivileged artists. In 2006 Jinxxie returned to performing live, spinning at warehouse parties and local clubs. As her popularity grew, her earlier roots began to show. No longer hiding from the spotlight, she is known for her hyper antics and unparallelled energy behind the decks. "They come here to see a show! I want them to feel what I feel and remember it when they leave here," she says. Jinxxie also continues to expand as a producer and is currently involved with several side projects combining different genres of music with a diverse span of established musicians. Additionally, she also held residencies at the nationally-recognized, longest-runnung dubstep party "Dubday Mondays" at Bar 13 NYC and "BASS FACTORY" at The National Underground, NYC and "A Different State Saturdays" in Bloomfield, NJ.
