Tears for Fears

The band was fantastic! They still sound amazing. The sound quality was absolute perfection! Some of that may have been the excellent sound at The Hollywood Bowl, but every sound was so clear and crisp. The show had good visual effects and the band had awesome audience communication and participation, on occasion. Loved it!!! Thank you TFF!

The band sounded fantastic, the sound was mixed perfectly, not too loud , just perfect. I only wish they had played a few more songs. I highly recommend the show. Cold War Kids were excellent as well. They played a number of their “hits” that we knew from Alt Nation. Their lead singer is super talented. The audio for Tears for Fears was the best mixing job I’ve heard since We saw Muse in 2012. It’s so nice to be able to hear the music as if you’re in your living room listening to the stereo. I get tired of bands cranking the volume and producing Nothing but a distorted drone of noise. This show was the opposite of that. Great in every way.

Was able to see Tears for Fears in Franklin, TN. Overall great show. They boys looked and sounded great as far as light work, instrumentation and vocals go (which was my biggest worry seeing a band that’s been around for so long). The show started and ended fantastically. If I had to gripe about anything, about 2/3 of the way through the show there was a bit of lull. Otherwise a great experience and would be down to see them again!

I don't have any photos because I forgot my phone at home. But, the concert was fabulous! The boys played 3 or 4 songs from their new album, which pretty great. This was our 4th time seeing them. The sound at Budweiser stage is great...nothing like the Casinos that we have heard them perform in. Brings back all the feels from the summers on the boat in the 89's.

The guys put on a great show. They almost fell out of time once or twice, but the drummer was incredible and got them on track. Encore performance was awesome, stage lights were wild. Great new music, I was floored to experience it with my dad, my gf, and a sold out arena full of people. Couldn’t ask for a better time.

Still one of the best bands ever. Their range of songs and quality of Roland's and Curt's delivery remains fab. The backing band and vocalist were brilliant too. It was a joy to see them perform at last in a great setting, appreciated by me, my wife Jan and daughter Hayley who's 'birth song' is everybody want to RUN the world! Good luck with the rest of the tour!

I typically would not write a review but the Tears for Fears show at Jones Beach show was live music at its very best. One of the reasons is the new album “The Tipping Point is that rare album where all the songs are so solid. It’s typically a very, very rare coincidence where I truly embrace every song. What also unique about this album is that it was created 18 years after the last album. When has anyone accomplished that? The show a mixture of old classics and six new songs was polished and inspired. The last show of their 2022 North American Tour.

Amazing! They played their greatest hits from the 80s and their new album released this year. They've become such mature, skilled musicians who've been through so much in life, which is reflected in their new songs and performance overall. The backup singer and keyboardist are wonderful. I haven't followed them in years and saw info on this concert while getting tickets for New Order. So glad I got tickets and I'd see them again. Garbage did a great job warming us up too.

Last night in Charlotte NC, they really proved the point that they're much more than a nostalgia act. They packed the PNC Music Pavilion despite the 100 degrees heat and humidity and put on a show that included more new material than bands like The Rolling Stones or Metallica play on their shows anymore and it was very well received by the audience. The show was a big production as well and it looked amazing. They looked more like a band coming back like Aerosmith in 1987 or Duran Duran in 1993 than any nostalgia act. The new songs sound great and sold me on buying the album, The Tipping Point. Truly, it was the best concert I've seen in a long long time

I just did & at the end there was NO clarification that it wasn't just dumped for not being a 5★ , stellar event. 3 of us almost missed the last Caltrain to points North (SF, eg)! In fact- no cash accepted for the overpriced merch, no ticket to keep as a souvenir, barely visible band from 204, et al, demanding a see through plastic bag & the temptation of thievery with medication inside waiting to get ripped off if someone sees my heart meds & thinks it's something else or just sellable. All cashless merch tables?! A $30 CAP- cheapest clothing/fabric item. The sound was okay & at least it wasn't a Dead song-fest full of fake hippies with dreads needing a bath, Mann.

Garbage and Tears for Fears. Both were great and I enjoyed both performances. Tears for Fears played a lot of tracks of The new release The Tipping Point and mixed in their big hits through out. They put on a great show and sounded amazing. If you have the opportunity to see them live Do it!

Both Tears For Fears and Garbage were amazing and worthwhile. Length of performances and variety were very satisfying. TFF played six tracks off their new album, so if you haven’t heard it yet, better get familiar. It’s a great album, deserves the focus. My issues are with the venue and Ticketbastard, but what else is new. Bring lots of $$$$, the tickets were the least of your worries.

This was hands-down the best show I’ve seen in I don’t even know how long. It was spectacular. The sound was incredible, the performances were flawless, and the light show was very impressive! It almost felt like I was listening to a professional recording from a studio, it was that good. I can’t recommend this enough! Go see Tears for Fears if you can get tickets! They exceeded all my expectations, and they were high to begin with. Love love love to Roland and Curt- you made my birthday incredibly memorable 👏🏼👏🏼

They sounded great. I was disappointed due to them performing most of their new album then interspersed the hits. Many of the attendees, myself included, were not familiar with the new music. You could tell by the muted responses (clapping, cheers) to the new material. If you see them on this current tour, 'bone up' on the new material. Oh yes, Suffer the Children was sang by the lady that does backup vocals. Great voice but not what we were there for. I guess they needed a break. Have fun!

What an excellent show! The band sounded amazing, the acoustics were excellent, and the lighting and projections were all beautiful. The guys sounded just as good as they did in the 80's/90's, and backup vocalist Carina Round was sublime. Special kudos to the staff at the Pavilion, who managed to get nearly everyone inside the venue when the sky opened up and soaked the lawn right before the show was scheduled to start.

Very good. Much better than the last time I saw them in 2008. The only downside was how long it took to get out of the venue and the lack of signposting on anything but the main exit. But, the facilities and the setting itself was extremely good. On the whole a very positive event for all the right reasons.

What a night, Alison Moyet still retains the Soulful rugged voice that is reminiscent of the 70’s/80’s but still lives today. The set list was full of the old and new with a dedication to the LGBT contingent that she clearly cares about. Tears for Fears started with a formidable opener that had the whole crowd on their feet and drew the crowd in and cheering and shouting and of course singing for more. A fabulous night of entertainment long may the 80’s rule xx

Amazing in every way. A band in top shape. Both Curt and Roland delivered GREAT vocals. Sound was great. They faithfully recreated the vast majority of the album versions of the songs. The Radiohead cover was a worthy tribute. Inspired, inspiring and the professionals. The only two things missed? Woman in Chains and a fabulous new TFF album!

Great time! I had a wonderful view in section 116. The energy from the crown below was amazing. I guess the section I was sitting in was subdued. I loved seeing one my favorite 80's group in person. They were funny and truly vibed with the crowd and that made the show an awesome night.

They sound amazing and seemed genuinely surprised at the crowd response for a random show not part of a tour. Great sound, solid set list that was really only missing Mothers Talk. T shirts were beyond lame though. If the would have just printed the playbook logo onto a shirt... big miss. See them.
