Sacred Mother Tongue

Sacred Mother Tongue - A fiery young Metal band from central England who formed in 2004 and quickly gained a reputation for an explosive live performance with a tight, aggressive yet melodic metal sound. After having recorded an initial 4 track demo in Feb '05 with a more rock/metal sound SMT have since moved into heavier territory with the latest material illustrating a range of influences including old school metal, thrash, melodic death and metalcore yet retaining a rock element. The new EP "Revenge is Personal" featuring the highly charged new creations is set for release during November '06. SMT doesn't fit into any particular genre providing a blistering set full of different sounding material.
