PJ MORTON

PJ Morton delivered another ELECTRIFYING performance in Dallas! Traditionally, I attend his live performances at a different venue than The Black Academy at of Arts and Letters, but this was an opportunity to become exposed to another Black cultural scene in Dallas. I look forward to attending the 2024 PJ Morton live performance!

PJ and his whole entire team are phenomenal. If you haven't seen him in concert yet, put it on your bucket list asap!! He is the definition of a feel-good artist who delivers feel-good music. Just Legendary! I am so happy and blessed that I went. It won't be my last time seeing him in concert for sure! Ima Mortan stan for life lol!

Amazing crowd, great community spirit, respectful. PJ was incredible from start to finish. He’s really a top tier live performer, as a musician, writer, arranger, director. Every aspect of his artistry was poised. He’s a masterclass and musical genius. My first PJ show and his first in New Haven, can’t wait for the next one. Everything’s gonna be alright!

The energy in that place was awesome!! The band was sick and PJ was phenomenal ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My only gripe was that the set was so short. I could’ve listened to him for another few hours and according to other ppl, his other shows were much longer. (Maybe bc it was his first time in New Haven) Nonetheless, I most certainly will go to another one of his shows! He’s just awesome! My husband and I had so much fun!!

PJ Morton exceeded every expectation. The music was phenomenal, the acoustics were perfect, and PJ’s interaction with the crowd was unmatched. The band was AMAZING! DJ Ariespins opened up and she really got us pumped for the show. She’s more than just a DJ.

One of the best shows I’ve been to in a long time. I’ve been a fan of his music for years, but this was my first time seeing him live, and it was absolutely incredible. His voice is incredible, as is his band. The energy in the room was amazing. Can’t recommend enough catching him live if you can.

I had so much fun!!! PJ is truly an awesome artist and has a wonderful gift of a voice. I was so caught up in enjoying the performance that I didn’t get many pics. Thank you for making this night so memorable!!

The concert was AMAZING! PJ never let's you down, he came ready to deliver. This was a great idea and I hope he does it again. The Amours showed they are ready to move on their own singing some of their songs from their new album. Peter Collins was a great opening act, I had never heard of him but I'm looking forward to hearing more.

The show was amazing from beginning to end. I have been trying to go see him all year and kept missing it, finally made the 2nd to last show of the year. Sooooo worth it. Peter Collins was also amazing. Guitar skills and voice was off the chain.

The event was phenomenal! Peter Collins opened for PJ and he was outstanding and then when PJ Morton and his band and the AMOURS...👏🏿THEY 👏🏿 TORE 👏🏿THE👏🏿ROOF👏🏿DOWN👏🏿. They were what was needed on a cold winter night in Brooklyn! 🙌🏿 New York was blessed bruh, BBBLLEEEESSSSED!

This is my 2nd Pj concert in 2 years! I didn’t think it was possible but this show surpassed the last one I went to! Pj Morton is the most innovative and inspiring artist of the world! I can’t wait to work with him!

It was an absolutely phenomenal night, starting with the opening artist Suzy Jones! PJ Morton did what he is known for. He left his all on that stage! I don’t think he could have done anything to make it a more perfect concert.

PJ... what can I say? This KING is anointed!!! So glad my wife allowed me to roll solo. Also glad I was able to cop a ticket via Stubhub to a sold out show! Great show- if you have not seen him live- ya’ need! Looks like I will be rollin’ to see him again on the 19th in LA!!! Let’s GO!!!

PJ Morton embodies the soul and grit of RnB -Soul legends like Stevie Wonder, Donny Hathaway and Marvin Gaye. I maybe paying only $20 for this intimate concert- one day this guy will be blowing up bigger venues like Madison square gardens, and the L.A staples Center. It’s just a matter of time. At least I can say I was there at the very beginning of it all!

If I can give this concert more than 5 stars I would!!! This man gave us a show to beat all shows! The energy in the room, the fans, the singers, all of it was AHHHMAZING!!!!! My one issue would be the House of Blues...standing all that time was murder on my feet from 630 until 11...they need one of those playground foam type floors. I am so grateful that I was able to experience the gift that is PJ Morton. Then when the show was over, we called for him to come out again and he did. In that Encore, his dad performed with him!!!! MAGICAL!!!!!!

The concert itself was life, but I had to walk out because I almost fainted because their was no air and we had to stand the entire time! Pj is a musical genius. I'll see him again, but not at 1904 Music Hall of the air still doesn't work

PJ Morton concert was great. The place it was at was pretty but seats were only for vip. They did not let people know that until they sent an email the day before. When people go to a concert most likely they will be dressed cute and in high heel shoes. Standing all that time killed my feet, and my boy friend' legs were tired as well. I feel like if it is an in door concert it should come with seats for the guest.

Omg he’s amazing I got the chance to meet him and he gave me a hug 😍 the music was out of this world and for this to be my FIRST concert I doubt if anyone could top it..... PJ your are everything

Amazing performance! Amazing energy! More Gumbo was just as good as Gumbo. I plan to attend every PJ Morton concert in Dallas. His live shows make me feel like I’m back home in New Orleans on Frenchmen Street. His love of craft shines through every time.

They don't call him the #LiveShowKilla for naught...the performance was 5-star, but I was displeased with the GA folks standing in front of my VIP seat! I'd gladly pay more $$$ to see him at City Theater, Garden, Opera House, Fox or other assigned seating venue in the city!
