The Ascended

The Ascended are a 4-piece metal outfit from Warrnambool / Melbourne, Victoria that was founded in 2014, Drawing influences from groove, thrash and melodic metal sub-genres, The Ascended strives to perform with a high level of energy, with riffs that stick in the listener’s head. The debut EP “Part “I was released in December 2015, and a multi-date regional tour followed straight after, taking their music to the masses. Ever hardworking, The Ascended also took on support slots for some of Australia’s most prolific metal acts, including Make Them Suffer, King Parrot, Dreadnaught and Elm Street. At the conclusion of the first tour, The Ascended hit the studio almost immediately to record their follow-up record “Part II”, which is set for a November 2016 release. A 12 date Australian tour is slated from November 2016 until February 2017 in support of this new record.
