The Contrast

ATTENTION!:The band has been broken up since April 2010. BUT by popular demand and because it's fun to look back, the band decided to keep the page up! Hey kids! The Contrast is a group of 4 hard working teenagers that share their raging passion for music. The band is made of Nick Dean (Vocals, guitar) Isaac Brownstein (guitar, vocals) , Nina Schollnick (bass, vocals) and Andrea Schollnick (Drums). The band started in November 2009 and has been rocking out to anything from their infamous Backstreet Boys cover of "Larger Than Life" to their own originals like "Pay No Attention" and "Rapture." Thanks to their fans, friends, family, dedication and a little elbow grease, The Contrast has built up a solid fan base through up-state new York and is thankful beyond words. "I'm working with some of the coolest people ever. This is my dream, I feel lucky every day!" Says Nina who also has taken the wheel to self-manage the band. Sharing the stage with bands many bands including: Nemes, Sweet Hollow Drive and, Patent Pending who are great musicians and role models for the band! The band also has had the wonderful opportunities to work with bands like Action Item and Headley! With big dreams, this group is working to make a long awaited album a reality.
