About Alexis Grace Music
Alexis Grace is a singer-songwriter hailing from Memphis, TN, where she grew up surrounded by the rich musical heritage of Beale Street. From a young age, she knew wanted to pursue a career in music, and honed her skills singing in church and studying music at the University of Memphis.
After auditioning for American Idol in Louisville, KY she and made it to the top 11 contestants in season 8, gaining national recognition for her soulful voice and captivating performances. Since then, she has continued to make her mark in the music industry, writing and performing her own music in the soul/pop style she loves.
In addition to her music career, Alexis had aspirations of acting and worked her way into tv and film appearing in popular TV shows like Netflix's Trailer Park Boys and Hallmark's Wedding at Graceland.
Her love of 70s-era style and music has been a major influence on her own work, and she counts Fleetwood Mac, America, and George Harrison among her biggest inspirations. Her myriad of influences helped deeply inform her development as an artist – she shared that genre-bending talent with her fans in January of 2015 with her debut solo EP Kiddo which showcased her talent for writing catchy, soulful pop songs. She returned to the music scene in 2023 after a long break with two new singles, “Crazy” and “Golden”.
