About Cryptic Abyss
Formed in 2012, this 5-piece groove metal powerhouse has been delivering skull crushing riffs and mayhem throughout Australia and beyond. Their signature ‘death meets groove’ sound and chaotic live show have earned them a spot as one of Melbourne’s most prolific death metal bands. Their 2016 debut album ‘Feed ‘em to the Sea’ was met with great reception and saw the band tour nationally in support of it. 2017 has seen them smashing out a bunch of Australian shows as well as a successful New Zealand tour supporting black/thrash legends Bulletbelt, while also writing for their next release.
