Clara Luzia

Clara Luzia emerged on the burgeoning Viennese indie scene in 2005, when she left her first band to launch a solo project under her two first names. She founded the record label Asinella Records, through which she also provided a platform for numerous other female artists until 2011. With her second album, *The Long Memory*, Clara Luzia won the Amadeus Austrian Music Award in 2008, and through extensive touring she also gained increasing recognition in Germany. In the years that followed, the artist received further nominations for the Amadeus Austrian Music Award and was able to expand her tours beyond Austria, Germany and Switzerland to include France and England. Clara Luzia now works increasingly as a theatre and film composer and has also received several awards in this field. In 2024, her children’s book *Mathildas Wortschatztruhe* (Achse Verlag), illustrated by Lene Kieberl, was published. In 2025, the musician presented her second live band, ‘The Quiet Version’, with which she returns to a more subdued sound – and this time also in German.
