About Kevin Kelly

Kevin Kelly
Kevin Kelly is an American musician, singer, songwriter, and producer based in Austin, Texas. He is best known as the lead vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and principal songwriter of the dark musical project Musidora Vampires, which he founded in 2013 and of which he was the sole official member until 2018.
His unique sonic identity is adorned with captivating hooks infused with a lasting structural prowess that blends cool undertones with gothic tendencies. In 2013, he took a significant step to further establish his creative and artistic freedom and to provide a platform for artists to explore and express their unique sounds by founding the independent record label Revvolt Records.
Known for his soulful vocals and expressive guitar work, Kelly—an Oklahoma native and Texas-based troubadour—delivers a compelling blend of Americana, folk, and rock. With a career spanning more than three decades, Kelly has carved out a distinctive space in the music world, fusing deeply personal songwriting with bold sonic exploration. His sound balances dark textures and edgy rock dynamics with structural sophistication and melodic strength, often bridging his traditional roots with an atmospheric nuance.
Whether performing intimate solo sets or crafting immersive studio productions, Kelly continues to explore the intersection of mood, melody, and meaning—building a body of work that honors his origins while pushing the boundaries of his artistic vision.
