Skaarv

Skaarv is a metal band spat out from the harsh, storm-ridden northwest coast of Norway. Their special form of sludge metal is crafted for the sole purpose of penetrating a massive wall of ocean storms and whipping rain. Skaarv's sound is like hammered out of the rocks on the stormy shore. A counter-attack on the deafening roar from the ocean, where every note is an endless battle against the ruthless forces of nature. Heavy, groovy and uncompromising, best described as «Pure and Genuine Oceanfront Metal». Low-tuned guitars, ten ton drums, and ferocious vocals, influenced by bands like Down, Pantera and Entombed.

Skaarv crawled out of the sea fog in 2010, and had their stage debut in 2013. Since then, the band has opened for established Norwegian acts, such as Sahg and Audrey Horne.

Skaarv released their debut-EP Seed of Justice in February 2015. A collection of explosive, salt blasted tunes, that rip through marrow and bone, like the ocean storms against the coasts of Norway.
