Mongoose

Mongoose basically sucks at writing bios, but at this very time he is trying not to whine about it. Mongoose was first noticed when he remixed Dub Fx’s epic song ‘Made’ – the track came out as part of a remix album by the street performer’s own label, Convoyunltd. Not before long it was followed by his first album ‘We Drink Palinka’ under the same label. Mongoose had the honour to collaborate with Dub Fx himself alongside a number of other great artists who also appeared on the release, such as CAde or Tits and Clits. Later he won the remix contest by The Qemists’. But it doesn’t end here. Oh no. Mongoose’s remix of Awolnation’s hit ‘Sail’ became an official remix, got signed by Red Bull Records and was distributed worldwide. After these initial successes with remixes, he started to focus on his own music. For his track ‘Comin Alive’ he teamed up with the exceptionally beautiful and even more talented Myra Monoka – the track became an instant hit and sat on the top of the local charts for two weeks. Meanwhile his first EP came out on Adapted Records – one of the finest labels in the glitch hop scene. Even Girls Generation, South Korea’s world famous girl-band decided to make his track ‘XXX’ part of their show, with which they toured from Seoul to Los Angeles. Recently you could hear two of Mongoose’s tracks ‘Dragon Slayer’ and ‘Mrs. Mongoose’ on Pretty Light’s weekly radio show I'm so normcore.
