Kimbra

It wasn't what I expected because I enjoy songs like Plain Gold Ring and Good Intent, but I wasn't totally unfamiliar with her newest songs from The Reckoning. I loved that she talked about her life, how she creates, what her struggles are. The music was soulful and contemplative.

10/10. What a brilliant and wonderful performance by a seasoned, humble, MONSTER talent. I loved her stories between each song, a taste of her human side. Then the next tune would start and she would transcend into some other worldly god. We brought a friend who had never heard of her and he left the show madly in love. A night I'll never forget.

I went to 3 different Kimbra concerts last year. Every time was a different experience. She's always reinterpreting and reevaluating creative choices. I loved this stripped back set and was happy that Dawn was able to join her.
