Gato Mendez

Born in Caracas, grew up by the sea of the Venezuelan east coast, in a humble neighborhood Ironically named "Tierra Adentro" which is indeed the spanish meaning for Underground; Daniel Mendez also known as Gato Mendez meet Music hitting drums in a Folk Music Family Band; experience that gives him the opportunity to develop Audio perception along having fun with relatives time to time.

Later in 90's felt deeply in love with the Rhythm and Blues foundations of the House Music by that moment, which leads him soon later to become DJ and Music Producer using the alias Gato Mendez; Promoting Electronic Music, Clubbing and Nightlife as Host on a well known local Radio Station, Holding private parties and events; Playing sessions fully charged of Old School Rave Energy, from Analog Records to Digital Audio Files.

As a Producer his Music is really different; Notorious Sound Design, Prominent Synths, Real and tight Bass lines, fresh Drums and extraordinaries effects well mixed with the inherited SouthAmerican Roots.

Founded his own imprint Angry Nerds Records, an Electronic Dance Music Net Label created to release his music on major Digital Stores such as Beatport, iTunes, Google Play, and many more.
